Saving money. People say it all the time! Pay your Saving money. People say it all the time! Pay yourself first. Save something for a rainy day. But it’s not that easy! There are so many competing priorities, how can we possibly think about our future selves. 
10 years, 5 years even 1 year is difficult to plan for. 
How do we begin? 

Determine the amount, Start by looking at one of your guilty pleasures. How much do you spend on that? Then use that amount and increase monthly by 10%

Automate. For my journey, it started with automating the deduction to my savings, then locking it away from myself (as I happen to be a spender at heart).

Then just start! You’ll never miss it, and before you know it savings has begun!

C -  Check yourself! Do you want’ it or a ‘need’ it?
A - Assess if your spending aligns with your goals
S - Save and Invest. Period. Any amount will do!
H - Create habits that will set you up for success

Having a budget can feel restrictive, boring and even provide some anxiety. But it doesn’t have to be that way. A budget is simply a tool to get you to your goals as fast as possible.
